Remastered game for PS3 to ship February 25

Namco Bandai Games Europe began streaming a video on Thursday showcasing the contents of the Collector's Edition box set for Tales of Symphonia Chronicles. The Collector's Edition will bundle a 2-CD soundtrack, five figurines (Lloyd, Collette, Emil, Marta and Tenebrae), an English light novel with never-revealed story based on the game, and an original art box drawn by Ufotable. The Collector's Edition will retail for US$99.95 and, though it was originally limited to 15,000 copies, has since been upped to 18,000 copies to meet pre-order demand.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is the PlayStation 3 remaster of the Tales of Symphonia and the Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World games. The remastered game shipped in Japan on October 10 for 6,980 yen (about US$70). Namco Bandai Games will release the game in the Americas on February 25, and in Europe and Australia on February 28. For the first time in the franchise's history, the game will have both English and Japanese audio tracks.

Namco Bandai Games began streaming an English-subtitled trailer in September, and revealed to the public at last year's New York Comic Con that a Collector's Edition for Tales of Symphonia Chronicles was in the works.
