2nd of 2 films to tell all-new story on March 8 with Aika Yoshioka theme song

The Movie Collection website began streaming a new trailer for second Hakuōki film, Hakuōki Dai-nishō Shikon Sōkyū, on Monday. The trailer features the movie's "Sōkyū no Hata" (Sky-Blue Flag) theme song by Aika Yoshioka.

Hakuōki Dai-nishō Shikon Sōkyū is the second of a two-part film project that tells an all-new story. The main cast from the previous anime projects are returning for the films. Osamu Yamasaki is returning to direct them, and he is co-writing the films' scripts with Tsunekiyo Fujisawa. Atsuko Nakajima is returning to adapt Yone Kazuki's original character designs for animation, and she is also serving as chief animation director. Kenji Kawai is taking over for Kô Ôtani for the films' music. Studio DEEN is again animating the films.

The second film will open in over 80 theaters in Japan on March 8. Advance tickets (with art by Kazuki) have been on sale since January 4, and since February 11, they are now bundling the third bonus item, a giant sticker with an anime key visual.
