Anime and drama streaming service Crunchyroll added a new Korean drama service to its lineup on Tuesday. The website KDrama.com, which is still in beta testing, is currently only available to North American Crunchyroll subscribers.
Upon Chernin Group's acquisition of a majority stake in Crunchyroll last year, Chernin executive Peter Chernin said, "Our plan is to continue to grow the anime vertical as well as launch new channels in different genres."
Korean television stations such as KBS, MBC, SBS and CJ E&M provide thousands of hours of content for the channel.
The channel is available in app form in the iOS and Android stores.
