Saki Fujita voices Kenyan dancer in April Super Street Fighter IV update

CAPCOM's official YouTube channel began streaming a trailer for the Ultra Street Fighter IV update to its Super Street Fighter IV video game on Friday. The trailer introduces Elena, one of the new characters that the update will add to the fighting game's roster. Elena is voiced by Saki Fujita (Vocaloid's Hatsune Miku, Engaged to the Unidentified's Konoha).

When Elena enters the ring in the video, her subtitles say "I'll show you my dance!" Assistant producer Tomoaki Ayano introduces the rest of the video, which features Elena demonstrating her main attacks against Sakura. Elena is the only character in the Street Fighter series who can heal herself.

Other new additions to the game's roster include Poison, Hugo, and Rolento.

The game will ship in Japan for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year, and is also planned for an arcade release this April. It will be available for digital download in North America and Europe in April. The update will be released in two versions: a download version for players who already own Super Street Fighter IV will sell for US$14.99 and a disc version with all current downloadable content will also be released for US$39.99.
