Yoshi Featured on Special Nintendo 3DS XL in North America, Europe

System to ship on the same day as Yoshi's New Island
Nintendo announced on Monday that it will release a Yoshi-themed Nintendo 3DS XL system in North America and Europe. The system, which will ship on March 14, the same day as the 3DS game Yoshi's New Island, will retail for US$199 in North America. Nitendo's store in the United Kingdom has listed a bundle release of the system, game, and power adaptor, while the North American version is sold separately.
Takashi Tezuka, creative director of the original 1995 Yoshi's Island game, is returning to produce the latest title. Moves such as flutter jumps, ground pounds, and egg throws will return, while new actions will utilize the 3DS's unique features.
