Compile Heart Posts 3-Minute Video for PS4 Idol RPG Omega Quintet

Compile Heart began streaming the complete three-minute version of the teaser video for its new PlayStation 4 idol role-playing game *ω*Quintet (Omega Quintet) on Monday. The video features a song-and-dance number, "Inchoate voice," by the game's idols.
The video reveals the story: Entities known as "beep" suddenly began attacking humanity. Defenseless against these attacks, homes and lives were lost. But as the world faced its demise, "utamiko" (singing maidens) emerged as the beacon of hope for humanity.
The game stars five "pure of heart" idols:
Rui Tanabe as Kyouka
Moe Toyota as Kanadeko
Inori Minase as Nene
Erii Yamazaki as Aria

The game will ship on September 18. The regular edition will cost 6,980 yen (about US$70) before taxes, while the download version will be 6,000 yen (US$60). The limited edition will bundle an exclusive box and special booklet for 8,980 yen (US$90). People who pre-order will receive an original soundtrack CD.
The video announces that the voice cast will hold a live concert, and more details will be provided in a segment of the Arista! TV program on June 4 at 7:30 p.m. Still more information will be provided every week.
