Crunchyroll Streams Live-Action Show I'm Mita, Your Housekeeper

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it will stream the live-action television series I'm Mita, Your Housekeeper (Kaseifu no Mita). The entire show is currently available for premium members while free members have access to the first four episodes with four more episodes added for free users each week. The streams will be available in the U.S., Canada, Central and South America including the Caribbean, Europe (excluding territories), South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

Be careful what you ask her for!

The hero of this story is Akari Mita. She's a master as cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry, but... she has no feelings. She never laughs or smiles. She acts like a robot, or perhaps a terminator!? She carries a deep sadness in her heart, and doesn't even feel like she's alive. No matter what she eats it tastes like nothing, and she doesn't feel hot or cold.

She is the most unfeeling person in TV history.

And she'll do ANYTHING she's told.

If you tell her to kill someone...

She's sent to live with a family of four kids and a father who lost their mother in a tragic accident. They carry the pain of losing their wife and mother, and problems of their own. In this story, the seemingly crazy actions of the maid, Mita, will allow each of them to face the problems that trouble them.

The series stars Nanako Matsushima as Akari Mita, Hiroki Hasegawa as Keiichi Asuda, Shiori Kutsuna as Yui Asuda, Taishi Nakagawa as Kakeru Asuda, Shuto Ayabe as Kaito Asuda, and Miyu Honda as Kii Asuda.
