CAPCOM's UK branch began streaming a preorder trailer for Ultra Street Fighter IV on Thursday. The video shows the game's fighters in special preorder bonus costumes and announces its release date. The game will be released digitally on PlayStation 3 on June 3 followed by the Xbox 360 release on June 4 and PC version via Steam on August 8. The retail release is slated for August 5. The game will be available digitally in Europe for both systems on June 4, followed by the retail and PC via Steam version on August 8.
Customers who preorder the game will receive a character costume DLC pack which includes Jungle Elena, Medieval Hugo, Pirate Poison, Wizard Rolento and Gladiator Decapre. The game debuted in arcades in Japan on April 17. The update adds Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento, and Decapre to the game roster.
The update will be released in two versions. A download version for players who already own Super Street Fighter IV will sell for US$14.99. A disc version with all current downloadable content will also be released for US$39.99. The disc version will ship in Japan on August 7 in both a regular and a collector's edition.
