1st Doraemon Manga Volume in 8 Years Ships in December

Doraemon Plus compiles Doraemon stories not published in the main series
Tentōmushi Comics will publish the sixth volume of Doraemon Plus on December 1 to celebrate late Doraemon creator Fujiko F. Fujio's 80th birthday. The fifth volume shipped in 2006, making this the first Doraemon manga volume in eight years.
Doraemon Plus premiered in 2005 as a manga compilation of Fujiko F. Fujio's Doraemon stories that did not appear in the original 45-volume series. The sixth volume will include 21 chapters.
Shogakukan published the inaugural issue of F Life, the official magazine created to celebrate FFujio's 80th birthday this year. Limited edition merchandise, other magazines, a video game, and an exhibit have featured characters from the creator's work.
