Cthulhu, Japanese Mythos Inspire Kadokawa's New Project Code RPGs

Natural Doctrine developer unveil dungeon & simulation RPGs

Kadokawa Game Studio announced during a Tokyo press conference on Tuesday that it is developing two new games under the "Project Code" name for the PlayStation platform family. It describes Project Code -Daten- (Project Code: Fallen Angel) as a “Cthulhu Mythology x Dungeon RPG,” while Project Code -Tsukuyomi- is a “Japanese mythology x Strategy RPG."

Kadokawa Games also began streaming a teaser for the two games:

Text: I fall from the heavens. For the sake of you and your world.
Text: Dissenter of Genesis - Tokyo Babel - God Killer - World's Lifeline - Treasonous Angel
Text: Project Code -Daten- Cthulhu Mythology x DRPG

Text: Can there truly be revenge without sacrifice?
Text: Banishment of the Gods - Hidden in a Cave - Solar Eclipse - Eight Million Gods
Text: Project Code -Tsukuyomi- Japanese Mythology x SRPG

The company said that it will reveal more details at a later date.
