1st Live-Action Jinuyo Saraba: Kamuroba Mura e Film's Teaser Posted

The first teaser for the live-action film of Mikio Igarashi's Kamurobamura-e (To Kamuroba Village) manga — the first based on any Mikio Igarashi work — began streaming on Thursday.
The manga is set in a remote village in Tohoku region of northeastern Japan. It humorously depicts the confusion surrounding a bank clerk, who moved to the village after he developed a "money allergy."
Suzuki Matsuo (Otakus in Love, Welcome to the Quiet Room, pictured top right in photographs below) is both writing and directing the movie. Ryuhei Matsuda (Taboo, Nana, top left) plays the lead character Takeharu "Take" Takami. It has been a decade since the two collaborated on the 2004 film Koi no Mon. The cast also includes (pictured at bottom, from left to right) Takako Matsu, Sadayo Abe, Fumi Nikaidō, and Toshiyuki Nishida (not pictured).
The Jinuyo Saraba: Kamurobamura-e film will open in Japanese theaters on April 4, 2015.
