Crying Freeman's Ikegami to End Ninja Manga Tenshi wa Maiorita

Story of female ninja to end on January 16 after nearly three years

The January 23rd issue of Houbunsha's Weekly Manga Times magazine announced on Friday that Ryōichi Ikegami (Crying Freeman, Sanctuary) will end his Tenshi wa Maiorita series on January 16.

Tenshi wa Maiorita: Kunoichi Ibun (The Angel Has Landed: The Untold Tale of a Female Ninja) launched in Weekly Manga Times in April 2012. The period drama/adventure centers around Ai, the illegitimate child of the real-life adolescent warrior Amakusa Shirō from Japanese history.
