Video includes teaser for Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition

The PlayStation YouTube channel began streaming the launch trailer for Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition game on Tuesday. The video also ends with a teaser for this summer's Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition release.

The game adds the Vergil's Bloody Palace tournament mode where the player, as Vergil, must defeat enemies to ascend 60 floors. The original Bloody Palace, where players control Dante, has five difficulty levels, but Vergil's version only has three, ending with Vergil Must Die difficulty.

CAPCOM and Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry was first released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last year. CAPCOM will release DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17. CAPCOM will release the game in retail and digital versions in Europe and North America for US$39.99/€39.99.

The port upgrades the original game and all the released downloadable content to 60 fps and 1080p resolution. It also adds two new skins, Devil May Cry 1 Dante and Classic Vergil; more gameplay modes; the Vergil Bloody Palace campaign; and a new cinematic cut-scene.
