God Eater's Rokuro Saitō to draw series based on sequel fighting game

Manga artist Rokuro Saitō (God Eater manga adaptations, Sky Gear) announced on his Twitter account last month that he will launch the new manga series P4U2 - Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine this spring.

The PlayStation 3 game Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold shipped in Japan in August, and Atlus released the game in North America for PS3 and Xbox 360 as Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in September.

The game is a sequel to the 2012 game Persona 4 Arena (Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena), a fighting game spinoff of the Persona 4 role-playing game. Kyū Aiya (Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari) drew the three-volume Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena manga adaptation in the Dengeki Maoh magazine from 2013-2014.

Crunchyroll is publishing Kodansha's Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth - Side:P3 and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth - Side:P4 manga internationally on its online service.
