Shiren the Wanderer 5+ PS Vita Game's Intro Video Posted

Enhanced version of DS game with new dungeons ships in Japan on June 4

Spike Chunsoft began streaming an introduction video on Thursday for its Fushigi no Dungeon: Fūrai no Shiren 5+ (Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5+) PlayStation Vita game.

The video describes the game's story:

Shiren and Koppa search for a new adventure, and continue their journey. Then one day, they lose their way and find a small village. That village has a legend: if you climb "Fortune Tower" — an enchanted land that soars above the ground — and meet the God of Fate, you can change your fate.

As with other Mystery Dungeon titles, each time players enter a dungeon, the dungeon changes. Players can befriend monsters and fight with them side by side, and use new varieties of tools. The game will feature new dungeons such as "Keikoku no Tani" (The Valley of Warning), "Hunter no Ike" (Hunter's Pond), "Wakuwaku Paradise" (Exciting Paradise), "Seishun no 1 Page" (Springtime of Youth's 1 Page), and "Akibito no Kakurega" (Merchant's Refuge). The game ships in Japan on June 4 and will retail for 4,800 yen (about US$40). A free demo for the game is available now.

Chunsoft originally released the Fushigi no Dungeon Fūrai no Shiren 5: Fortune Tower to Unmei no Dice (Mystery Dungeon Shiren the Wanderer 5: Fortune Tower and the Dice of Fate) game on the Nintendo DS handheld console in December 2010. The game is part of Chunsoft's rogue-like Mystery Dungeon game series.
