Manchester Comic Con Announcements

Includes live-action Attack on Titan released by Animatsu; original Mobile Suit Gundam series released by Anime Limited

The latest Manchester Comic Con announcements are as follows:

- Animatsu will release both new live-action film versions of Attack on Titan (pictured); the first part will have a UK cinema release in mid-October.

- Anime Limited has partnered with Sunrise to release Mobile Suit Gundam titles. The original Mobile Suit Gundam TV series from 1979 will be released on Blu-ray (both dubbed and subbed). The 43-part series will be released across two sets, the first appearing in October, the second in November. There will also be a sub-only edition of Gundam Reconguista in G (Part 1) in December.

- Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' will have a UK cinema release in September.

- Anime Limited will release Blood Blockade Battlefront.

- Anime Limited will release BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad on DVD in November.

- Animatsu will also release Garm Wars: The Last Druid, the live-action/CG science-fiction film by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers), in the fourth quarter of 2015.

- Of the recent Naruto films, Naruto: Road to Ninja is due on October 12 (DVD, Blu-ray), while The Last -Naruto the Movie- has also been acquired for DVD and Blu-ray. Naruto the Movie: Blood Prison will have a standalone Blu-ray release on November 21; The Last -Naruto the Movie- will be released 'later this year.'

- Beyond the Boundary will be released by Animatsu on DVD and Blu-ray in 2015, date TBC.

- Coppelion will be released on DVD via Kaze on November 2; World Conquest Zvezda Plot will be released on the same day.

- Manga will release the first series of Noragami on DVD and Blu-ray.

- Magi: The Kingdom of Magic will have a two-part release on Blu-ray and DVD.

- Danganronpa will be released by Manga Entertainment on DVD and Blu-ray on November 9.

- Animatsu will release Bakumatsu Rock: Samurai Jam on October 19.

- Anime Limited's release of Full Metal Panic! is planned before the end of 2015, while its release of Vision of Escaflowne is provisionally scheduled for early 2016.

- Anime Limited's releases of Samurai Flamenco and Fusé: Memoirs of a Huntress are due in November. (Samurai Flamenco will be a two-part, sub-only release, exclusive to Blu-ray.) Gankutsuo: The Count of Monte Cristo and A Letter to Momo are both scheduled for December. There will be a steelbox of Gankutsuo.
