Crunchyroll to Stream Teekyu 6 TV Anime

Media streaming service Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will stream the Teekyu 6 television anime. The streaming will begin on Monday, October 5 at 1:30 p.m. EDT in North America, South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
Piyo and Roots launched the original Teekyū manga in Comic Earth Star in early 2012, and the first anime season was announced just months later on the manga's first book volume. Earth Star Entertainment claimed that this is the fastest television anime adaptation ever. A second and third season followed. The fourth season premiered in April, while fifth season premiered in Japan on July 6. The spinoff series Takamiya Nasuno Desu! (I am Nasuno Takamiya) also premiered in April. The animation production studio for the fourth and fifth season of Teekyū, as well as the Takamiya Nasuno Desu! spinoff, switched from MAPPA to Millepensee.
The returning cast members — Kana Hanazawa, Kyōko Narumi, Suzuko Mimori, Yui Watanabe, Kaori Ishihara, Yui Ogura, and Eri Kitamura — are performing the new season's theme song under the group name "Earth Star Dream."
Crunchyroll streamed the previous five seasons of the show, as well as the Takamiya Nasuno Desu! spinoff, as they aired in Japan.
Crunchyroll also listed the premiere time and territories for its Lance N' Masques streaming. The series will play every Thursday starting October 1 at 1:30 p.m EDT in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the Netherlands, Nordics, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
