Rise of Incarnates PC Game Shuts Down in December

Game no longer available to purchase, all characters now available for free

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it will shut down service for its Rise of Incarnates 3D combat game on December 16.

The game is no longer available for purchase as of October 14. All characters in the game are also now available for free, and in-game items are reduced in price, with some available for free. December 15 will be the last day that players will be able to play the game, after which it will shut down on the following day on December 16.

Bandai Namco Entertainment launched the game on July 1, and the game features 2-on-2 multiplayer combat in 3D environments.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. producer Ryuichiro Baba previously stated in an interview that Rise of Incarnates was developed in part due to Bandai Namco Entertainment's reluctance to localize the Gundam Extreme Vs. series (which features similar 2-on-2 gameplay) in the West. Bandai Namco Entertainment's upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Force game will get an English release in Asia in winter.
