M&C! Licenses Matsūra's Kasane Suspense Manga

Manga about abused girl getting special lipstick debuts in Indonesia at end of year
Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Friday that it has licensed Daruma Matsūra's Kasane suspense manga series. The company will publish the first volume sometime at the end of the year.
M&C! describes the series:
Because of her ugliness, Kasane has lived in misery since childhood. She was friendless, ridiculed, treated as disgusting, and even abused and beaten. One day, everything changes when she finds the old lipstick that her mother gave to her before she died. Her mother had told her, "When life is really hard, wear the lipstick, and kiss what you desire." But is the lipstick a blessing, or a curse?
Matsūra launched the series in Kodansha's Evening magazine in 2013 as her debut work. Kodansha published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on July 23. The manga was nominated in Kodansha's 39th annual Manga Awards in the Best General Manga category, and it also placed 10th out of 14 nominees in the 8th Taisho Manga Awards.
