Ad to feature Sayuri's ending song next Thursday

The official Twitter account for the television anime ERASED (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) announced the performing artists for the anime's theme songs on Thursday. The band Asian Kung-Fu Generation will perform the opening theme song, while singer-songwriter Sayuri will perform the ending theme song. The anime production plans to air a new commercial with the ending theme in the Noitamina timeslot on December 17.

The cast for the anime includes:

Tomohiko Ito (Sword Art Online, Silver Spoon) is directing the series and Taku Kishimoto (Silver Spoon, Haikyu!!) is handling series composition at A-1 Pictures. Keigo Sasaki (The Seven Deadly Sins, Blue Exorcist) is designing the characters for the anime and Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sword Art Online) is composing the music.

The manga's story follows Satoru, a struggling manga artist who has an ability that forces him back in time to prevent deaths. When his mother is killed he's sent back in time to solve the mystery, but ends up back in elementary school, just before the disappearance of his classmate Kayo.

Kei Sanbe began the original manga in 2012 and it is currently serialized in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine. The manga was nominated for the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize 'Reader Award' in 2014 and this year's Manga Taisho Awards.

A live-action film adaptation starring Tatsuya Fujiwara and Kasumi Arimura will open on March 19, 2016.
