The official website of the Durarara!!×2 sequel series began streaming a 15-second commercial for the Durarara!!×2 Ketsu television anime series on Tuesday. The video previews the anime's opening theme song "Steppin' Out" by FLOW, and reveals the show's January 9 premiere. (The video on the website is region-locked)

Voice: The extraordinary that we longed for has been sinking into us. This is a twisted story, a twisted love story. Durarara!!×2 Ketsu. Premieres January.

Durarara!!×2 Ketsu (Conclusion) is the third and final part of the three-part Durarara!!×2 sequel TV anime series. The first part (Durarara!!×2 Shō or "understanding") premiered in January 2015 and ran for 12 episodes, and the second part (Durarara!!×2 Ten or "motion") premiered in July 2015 and ran for 12 episodes.

Penguin Research will perform the ending theme song "Joker ni Yoroshiku" (Say Hello to Joker) for the series.

The sequel series also inspired the Durarara!!×2 Ten Gaiden!? video anime that premiered in Japanese theaters on November 14.

Aniplex of America streamed the first two parts of the anime on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and the Aniplex Channel in Japanese with English subtitles and with an English dub. The company is releasing the first part of the sequel anime, Durarara!!×2 Shō, on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in two releases. The first release shipped on September 29 (with episodes 1-6) and the second release shipped on November 24 (with episodes 7-12 and the bonus 4.5 episode). Funimation will stream the series as it airs in Japan.
