Kiss Him, Not Me Anime Casts Yu Kobayashi, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Yuuki Ono, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Keisuke Koumoto, Miyuki Sawashiro

The wraparound jacket band on Junko's ninth Kiss Him, Not Me (Watashi ga Motete Dōsunda) manga volume is announcing the cast for the upcoming television anime adaptation on Wednesday:
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Hayato Shinomiya
Yūki Ono as Yūsuke Igarashi
Nobunaga Shimazaki as Asuma Mutsumi
Keisuke Kōmoto as Nozomu Nanashima
Miyuki Sawashiro as Shima Nishina
A drama CD of the manga included with the manga's fifth Japanese volume had the following cast:
- Hiroshi Kamiya as Hayato Shinomiya
- Yoshimasa Hosoya as Yūsuke Igarashi
- Takahiro Sakurai as Asuma Mutsumi
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Nozomu Nanashima
- Kana Hanazawa as Kae Serinuma
- Chinatsu Akasaki as Shima Nishina
Crunchyroll is releasing chapters of the manga in North America as Kodansha publishes them in Japan, and it describes the story:
Kae Serinuma is what you'd call a "fujoshi." When she sees boys getting along with each other, she loves to indulge in wild fantasies! One day her favorite anime character dies and the shock causes her to lose a ton of weight. Then four hot guys at school ask her out, but that isn't exciting to her at all — she'd rather see them date each other!
Hiroshi Ishiodori (Peach Girl, Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino) is directing the anime at Brain's Base. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, DAGASHIKASHI) is in charge of series composition. Kazuhiko Tamura (Gunparade Orchestra, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Next Season~, Kyōkai no Rinne) is designing the characters for animation. Mina Ōsawa (Actually, I Am…, Nurse Witch Komugi R) is the chief animation director.
The anime will premiere this fall on TBS and BS-TBS.
Junko began the manga in Bessatsu Friend in 2013. Kodansha USA is publishing the series in North America.
