Film of Ultraman Ginga S series opened in Japan in March 2015

Philippine cinema chain SM Cinema announced on Saturday that it will screen the Gekijōban Ultraman Ginga S Kessen! Ultra 10 Yūshi!! (Ultraman Ginga S the Movie: Showdown! Ultra 10 Warriors!!) film on Saturday and Sunday, September 10-11. SM Cinema also streamed an English-dubbed video of the film.

The movie, a sequel to the Ultraman Ginga S television show, opened in theaters in Japan in March 2015. In the film, Earth regained peace, but suddenly a huge spatiotemporal castle appears with a new enemy to challenge Ultra Ginga and Ultra Victory. The UPG (Ultra Party Guardians) gather with Musashi Haruno/Ultraman Cosmos to investigate. They discover that the female warrior Alena sealed a variety of Ultra warriors within the castle.

The one-hour film stars Takuya Negishi as Hikaru Raido/Ultraman Ginga, Kiyotaka Uji as Shō/Ultraman Victory, Taiyo Sugiura as Musashi Haruno/Ultraman Cosmos, and Arisa Komiya as the female warrior Alena who uses a magical mirror to trap Ultra warriors. Ryūichi Ōura (Captain Yoshiaki Jinno in Ultraman Ginga S), Yukari Taki (Arisa Sugita in Ultraman Ginga S), Takahiro Katō (Gōki Matsumoto in Ultraman Ginga S), Takuya Kusakawa (Tomoya Ichijōji in Ultraman Ginga), Rina Koike (Sakuya in Ultraman Ginga S), and Moga Mogami (Mana in Ultraman Ginga S) also appear in the film.

Series director Kōichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider Fourze, Kyoryuger, Aka x Pink) returned to direct the film. Yūji Kobayashi (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal, Smile Precure!) and Takao Nakano (The Rug Cop, Blind Beast vs. Dwarf) wrote the script. Rock band THE ALFEE's Toshihiko Takamizawa wrote the theme song.
