Nana Maru San Batsu Anime Reveals 2 More Cast Members With Quiz Videos

Toei streamed four quiz videos this month, revealing two new cast members for the television anime adaptation of Iqura Sugimoto's Nana Maru San Batsu (literally, "7 O 3 X" or "7 Right, 3 Wrong") manga. Toei first streamed a "question" video for each character with only the voice, and later streamed "answer" videos revealing the names of the voice actors. The new cast members are as follows:

Umika Kawashima as Mari Fukami
Masaki Ōzora (12-Sai: Chiccha na Mune no Tokimeki) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment. Yuuko Kakihara (Orange, Digimon Adventure tri.) is supervising the anime's scripts. Makoto Takahoko (Thunder Jet) is drawing the character designs.
The manga centers around the club life and coming-of-age of high school students who challenge themselves in quiz competitions. Shiki Koshiyama is a book-loving boy who joins the quiz club at the urging of Mari Fukami, a girl who is an experienced quiz competitor.
Sugimoto launched the manga in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine in 2010, and Kadokawa published the 13th compiled book volume on December 31. A media adaptation was already announced as in the works in August. Sugimoto's other works include the manga adaptation of Mamoru Hosoda's Summer Wars anime film.
The anime's official website is accepting submissions for quiz questions, and the chosen entries will be used in the anime itself and in future events.
