Starmarie Idol Group to Perform at Philippines' Best of Anime Event in September

Philippine events organizer Primetrade Asia announced on Monday that its Best of Anime convention will host idol group Starmarie as guests. The group will perform during the event.
The group last performed at the Best of Anime convention in 2015.
Starmarie formed in 2008, and currently consists of the members Nozomi Kishita, Shino Takamori, Monya Nakane, Hiroka Matsuzaki, and Kaede Watanabe. The group performed the song "Mekurumeku Yūki," the fourth ending theme song of the Cardfight!! Vanguard G TV anime. The song first appeared in the anime's 37th episode. Starmarie released their latest album, Fantasy Theater, on April 4, and released their latest single, "Hime wa Rankiryū☆Goikkō-sama," in April 2016. The song served as the opening theme song of the Onigiri anime, where Starmarie members Monya Nakane and Nozomi Kishita also debuted as voice actresses. The group will perform the "Natsuninare!" ending theme song for the Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT. The song will be the anime's fourth ending theme song, and will debut in July.
This year's Best of Anime convention will take place on September 9 and 10 at the SMX Convention Center in Metro Manila, Philippines.
