2 New Manga Launch in Shonen Jump This Month

Masayoshi Satōshō, Kazusa Inaoka ran similar manga in Jump Giga

This year's 23rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Wednesday that Masayoshi Satōshō and Kazusa Inaoka will each launch a manga series in the magazine later this month.

Satoshō will launch the Momiji no Kisetsu (Momiji's Shogi Time, a pun on "fall leaves season") manga (top right in the image above) in the 24th issue on May 14. Satoshō previously published a manga with the same name (but written differently) in Shueisha's Shonen Jump GIGA magazine. Shueisha published the manga's one compiled volume (pictured below) on December 4.

Shonen Jump describes the new Momiji no Kisetsu manga as centering on a young man who aims to become a pro shogi player and Ryūō. The Ryūō Tournament is one of the eight major professional shogi title tournaments.

Inaoka will launch the Kimi wo Shinryakuseyo! (Invade You!) manga (bottom right in the top image) in the magazine's 25th issue on May 21. Inaoka similarly serialized a manga with the same title (pictured below) in Shonen Jump GIGA.
