Danchigai's Kazusa Yoneda Ends 'The villain's prince can't be in love.' Manga

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Romantic comedy about high schooler trying to change his image launched last November

The website for Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine revealed on Thursday that Kazusa Yoneda will end the Akuyaku Ōji wa Koi ga Dekinai (The villain's prince can't be in love.) manga in the magazine's December issue on October 27.

Yoneda launched the manga in November 2017. Ichijinsha published the manga's first volume on May 26.

The manga is a romantic comedy starring the clever and handsome son of a wealthy family. In middle school he only ever studied, and everyone said he was plain like a background character. When he gets to high school, he enacts a plan to change his image to be more like a "main character" and get the perfect girlfriend.

Yoneda launched the ongoing Danchigai manga in Manga 4-Koma Palette June 2011 and Ichijinsha will publish the seventh compiled volume on October 22. The manga inspired a series of anime shorts that streamed on Crunchyroll as they aired in Japan in 2015.

Yoneda also drew a manga adaptation for Key's Little Busters! visual novel.
