Saikano's Shin Takahashi Launches New Manga in April

The April issue of Hakusensha's Melody magazine revealed on Thursday that Shin Takahashi is launching a new manga titled Kami o Kiri ni Kimashita (I've Come to Cut Your Hair) in the magazine's next issue on April 27. The magazine hints that the story will center on a single father and his son. Takahashi posted a visual for the manga on his Twitter account.
Takahashi recently ended his Kanata Kakeru manga last September, and also revealed at the same time that he will launch a new work about the university ekiden race in 2019. Takahashi launched Kanata Kakeru in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine in January 2016, and Shogakukan shipped the manga's 10th and final volume last October.
Viz Media released Takahashi's Saikano manga in North America. The series inspired a television anime, original video anime, and live-action film. Takahashi's other manga include Iihito, Saishū Heiki Kanojo Another World, Yuki ni Tsubasa, and and Hatsukoi Honya..
