New manga centers on young woman whose hair hides secret

This year's 14th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Hiroshi Shiibashi (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan) will launch a new manga in the magazine starting in the next issue on March 11.

The manga, titled Kamio Yui wa Kimi wo Yui (Yui Kamio Does Hairdressing), will have a 54-page first chapter and an opening color page. The "black and white heroine comedy" manga centers on a beautiful and sweet young woman named Yui Kamio whose hair hides a secret.

Shiibashi published a one-shot manga in Weekly Shonen Jump last April, and Viz Media published the manga in English digitally.

Shiibashi is the creator of the Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, Illegal Rare, and Tsukumogami: Teito Jōhōbu Tokkenchobōin Serosero Nanashiki manga. Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan ran from 2008 to 2012 with 25 volumes and inspired two television anime seasons in 2010 and 2011. Viz Media published the manga in English.
