Ni no Kuni Game Gets Remastered Release on PS4/PC

Original version also ships on Switch; all 3 releases slated for September 20

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it will release the Level 5's Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch in a remastered version on the PlayStation 4 and PC, and will also release the original version on the Switch. All three releases are slated to debut on September 20.

Level 5 debuted the fantasy role-playing game Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for the PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2011, after a Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madōshi game for Nintendo DS in 2010 and a game for Japanese phones. Namco Bandai Games then released Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch outside Japan in 2013. The RPG featured cut scenes from Studio Ghibli.

Level 5 released the Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom PlayStation 4 and PC game in March 2018.

The franchise is inspiring an anime film that will open in Japan on August 23.
