M&C! Licenses Hibiki, Teacher's Kiss, Love in Your Order Manga

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Monday that it has licensed the Hibiki - Kiat Menjadi Novelis, Teacher's Kiss, Love in Your Order, Naive Princess and Naughty Butler, and Wicked Desire manga. All five manga will begin releasing on August 7.

The story of Mitsuharu Yanamoto's Hibiki - Kiat Menjadi Novelis (Hibiki: Shōsetsuka ni Naru Hōhō) manga begins when a handwritten novel manuscript is sent into a rookie contest, but it doesn't meet the conditions and is thrown in the trash. Still, an editor named Hanai picks it up by chance and believes it is a revolutionary novel. The author's name is Hibiki Akui, but there is no contact address on the submission. Meanwhile, Hibiki – a 15-year-old student – joins her school's literary club, not knowing that Hanai is trying to track her down.

Yanamoto launched the manga in Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine in August 2014. Shogakukan released the manga's 12th volume on June 28. The manga won the 10th Manga Taisho award in 2017.

The manga inspired a live-action film that opened in Japan last September, and ranked at #6 in its opening weekend.

M&C! describes Kotoyu Tamura's Teacher's Kiss (Sensei, Tokidoki Seifuku de Kiss) manga:

Mamina is a high school student in her first year. Shortly after classes begin, she fails to make friends, and decides to skip classes and no longer go to school. Kawagoe, the homeroom teacher for Mamina's class, visits Mamina's home to compel her to come back to classes.

Tamura launched the manga in Shogakukan's Deluxe Betsucomi magazine in 2017. Shogakukan published the manga's fourth and final compiled book volume on May 24.

M&C! has also published Tamura's other manga, including Poetry of Love (Koisuru Koto no Ha), 37.2º The Warmth of Your Love (Heinetsu 37.2ºC), Love at First Sight (3-byō, Sude ni Koi), Knight's Love Triangle (Kanojo to Watashi to Knight no Jijō), Falling Star Beside Me (Tonari kara Nagareboshi), and Love in 3 Seconds (3-byō, Sude ni Koi).

M&C! describes Maiko Imazawa's Love in Your Order (Shirobara-sama no Iu Tōri.) manga:

Shirobara Academy is an elite academy attended by the richest of the rich, except for one student named Ayame who somehow got into the school on a scholarship. Everything about her screams normal: a normal family, average grades, ordinary athletic ability, plain appearance.

One day, she receives an invitation to the Shirobara Club, which functioned as the school's student council, with members consisting of celebrities handpicked by Shirobara-sama, the club's chairman.

Imazawa launched the manga in Shogakukan's Sho-Comi magazine in February 2018, and ended it in the same year. Shogakukan published the manga's second and final compiled book volume last August.

M&C! previously published Imazawa's Kiss is Surely Your Scar (Kiss wa Kitto Kimi no Kizuato) manga last September.

M&C! describes Chiroru Aozora's Naive Princess and Naughty Butler (Otenba Hime ni Ijiwaru Shitsuji) manga:

Since her 15th birthday, Airi's life has changed completely! From an ordinary girl with a boring, everyday routine, she became the princess and heir to the throne of a kingdom of magic! And let's not forget, she has a cool butler who has sworn faithfully to protect her!

Aozora published the manga in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine, and Shogakukan published the manga's one compiled book volume in November 2017.

M&C! previously published Aozora's A Mermaid's Love (Himekoi Mermaid) and Love Comes True (Mezamereba Princess) manga.

M&C! will publish Tsukiko Kozumi's Wicked Desire (Kimi to Akujo nishite Ageru) manga under its Akasha label. M&C! describes the manga:

"My boyfriend and best friend are secretly attracted to each other."

Knowing that her boyfriend and best friend have secretly fallen in love with each other, Haruka has settled on becoming a self-described "bad woman." She pretends to have an affair with her boss Kuroishi. However, as they grow closer, Kuroishi realizes that Haruka has deeply hidden her true self.

Kozumi published the manga in Shogakukan's Petit magazine, and Shogakukan released the manga's one compiled book volume in May 2018.

M&C! has previously published Kozumi's Love Station (Katakoi Shūchakueki), The Wake Up Kiss (Toraware no Kimi ni, Mezame no Kiss o), Love Camouflage (Gisō Kekkon no Kokoroe), and Just For You (Kimi no Totte Oki) manga.
