Weathering With You sells 511,159, followed by 2 SAO, 2 Demon Slayer, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, 2 Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
Makoto Shinkai's Weathering With You novel also topped Oricon's overall bunko (smaller A6-sized books) ranking chart with 511,159 copies. It is the second time Shinkai has topped that chart, after his your name. novel accomplished the feat three years ago. In addition, the illustrated children's book version of the film ranked #1 in the children's book category for two weeks this past summer.
