Muse Asia Streams A3!, Asteroid in Love, Isekai Quartet 2, BOFURI

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Singaporean anime licensing company Muse Asia announced on Friday that it will stream A3! Season Spring & Summer, Asteroid in Love (Koisuru Asteroid), Isekai Quartet 2, and BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense in Southeast Asia. The company will also continue its stream of Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle and Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun.

A3! Season Spring & Summer will debut on Muse's YouTube channel on January 14 at 12:30 a.m. Funimation licensed the anime for North America, and it describes the series:

Mankai Company is a far cry from its glory days as an all-male theater. With only one member left and debt collectors at the door, it's no wonder Izumi Tachibana finds herself in over her head when she boldly confronts the yakuza's loan sharks, promising to bring her father's theater back into the spotlight. She might be able to recruit enough talent, but can they bloom into the actors she needs?

Keisuke Shinohara (Black Fox) is directing the anime at P.A.WORKS and Studio 3Hz. Mariko Komatsu is adapting the original character designs by Ryō Fujiwara and serving as chief animation director. Naoki Hayashi (Black Fox) is in charge of the series scripts. Infinite is producing.

Asteroid in Love will debut on January 3 at 11:30 p.m., but all subsequent episodes after that will debut on Fridays at 11:00 p.m.

Quro's original manga centers on Mira, a girl who dreams of joining the astronomy club once she got into high school, after meeting a man and promising to discover new asteroids when she was younger. But the high school she got into had abolished its astronomy club the year before she enrolled, and it has now been combined with the earth sciences club.

Daisuke Hiramaki (WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo. Yuka Yamada (WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid) is handling series scripts. Jun Yamazaki (Three Leaves, Three Colors, Uzamaid!) is designing the characters.

Nao Toyama is performing the opening theme song "Aruiteikō!" (Let's Go for a Walk!), while Minori Suzuki is performing the ending theme song "Yozora" (Night Sky).

Isekai Quartet 2 will debut on January 15 at 12:45 a.m.

The anime is a crossover series between the Re:Zero, Overlord, Konosuba, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil franchises. Isekai Quartet 2 will feature characters from The Rising of the Shield Hero franchise.

The new anime will feature a returning staff. Minoru Ashina (Kaiju Girls, Pure Pure Purea Desu Overlord shorts) is scripting and directing the anime. Minoru Takehara is serving as both character designer and chief animation director. Studio Puyukai (Kaiju Girls, Lord Marksman and Vanadis, Pure Pure Purea Desu Overlord shorts) is animating the work.

Satoshi Hino, Jun Fukushima, Yūsuke Kobayashi, and Aoi Yūki will perform the opening theme song as their characters. Sumire Uesaka, Rie Takahashi, Inori Minase, and Saori Hayami will perform the ending song as their characters.

Aniplus Asia aired the first season as it aired in Japan. The first season premiered in April earlier this year.

BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense will debut on January 8 at 10:30 p.m.

Yuumikan's original light novel series' story centers on Kaede Honjō, who is invited by her friend Risa Shiramine to play a virtual reality MMO game with her. While Kaede doesn't dislike games, what she really, truly dislikes is being in pain. She creates a character named Maple, and decides to put all her points in VIT to minimize pain. As a result, she moves slowly, can't use magic, and even a rabbit can get the best of her. But as it turns out, she acquires a skill known as "Absolute Defense" as a result of her pumping points into VIT, as well as a "Counter Skill" that works against special moves. Now, with her ability to nullify all damage, she goes on adventures.

Shin Oonuma (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Watamote) and Mirai Minato (Masamune-kun's Revenge, Sunohara-Sō no Kanrinin-san) are directing the series at Silver Link. Fumihiko Shimo (Anima Yell!, New Game!) is in charge of series composition. Kazuya Hirata (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Sunohara-Sō no Kanrinin-san) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director.
