Netflix Adds Aggretsuko Season 5, Make My Day Anime Film, Call Me Chihiro Live-Action Film in India

The company will stream:
- The fifth and final season of the Aggretsuko anime on February 16.
- The Make My Day anime – an adaptation of an original story by manga creator Yasuo Ohtagaki (Moonlight Mile, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt) – on February 2.
- Call Me Chihiro, the live-action film adaptation of Hiroyuki Yasuda's Chihiro-san manga, on February 23 alongside its worldwide debut.
The fifth and final season of Aggretsuko will premiere on February 16. The new season will focus on Retsuko running for office. Rareko is returning to direct the fifth season at Fanworks, and the anime's cast is also returning.
The character's first anime (which predated the Netflix anime) premiered in April 2016 within the Ō-sama no Brunch TBS Saturday morning program, and aired new one-minute episodes weekly until March 2018.
The first 10-episode Netflix season premiered worldwide in April 2018. Rareko, the director of the previous Agressive Retsuko anime and Yawaraka Sensha, again directed the first Netflix season at Fanworks, and also penned the scripts. Netflix began streaming the third season and fourth season of the anime in India alongside their worldwide debut.

The snowy, ice-covered planet Coldfoot is home to a precious energy-rich ore called “Sig.” On the surface, the planet seems to be a crime-free utopia, but in reality prisoners are used for back-breaking Sig mining. Jim, a young prison guard, rushes to the site of a sudden mining accident to find a mysterious creature attacking the humans.
Makoto Honda is directing the film, and Taiwanese 3D CG studio 5 Inc. is animating and providing character designs. Yumiko Yoshizawa is penning the script. Macross mechanical designer Shōji Kawamori and Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Flip Flappers, FLCL Progressive, FLCL Alternative mechanical design) are both mechanical designers for the series. kensuke ushio is composing the music.
