Muse Asia Opens Job Listing for English Sub Translator

Muse Asia announced on Wednesday that it has contractual job openings for an English sub translator for its simulcast anime. The job will be work from home, and pay will be by piecework. Applicants may send applications with attached resumes to [email protected].

The position will task employees with translation Japanese animation materials and producing English subtitles. Applicants will be required to be qualified for JLPT N2 or above (for Japanese), CEFR B1 or above (for English), and a passion for Japanese anime. Familiarity with subtitling software is a plus.

Muse Asia is the YouTube label for Muse Communication Singapore, the Singaporean subsidiary of licensing company Muse Communication. Muse Communication founded Muse Communication Singapore in 2019. The company licenses and offers simulcast streaming of seasonal anime for the Southeast Asian region.
