Anisama Manila Event Moves Venues to New Frontier Theater

ANN confirmed on Wednesday that ticketing company TicketNet has sent out notifications to those who purchased tickets for the Anisama World 2025 in Manila event that the event venue will move to the New Frontier Theater, across the intersection from the original Araneta Coliseum venue. New Frontier Theater has a smaller seating capacity than Araneta Coliseum.

The event will take place this Saturday, June 7, and the concert will have eight artists, including the Ave Mujica band from BanG Dream!, rock band FLOW, the singers Mayu Maeshima and MindaRyn, the band ASH DA HERO, singer Hiroshi Kitadani, singer Toshiya Miyata, and hip-hop group nobodyknows+.

Animelo Summer Live (also known as Anisama) is an annual music festival that gathers numerous performers to perform anime theme songs, anime-related songs, and otaku culture-related songs. The event has been running every year since 2005, except for 2020, when the event was canceled due to COVID-19. The event usually runs in August, except for its first three iterations when it ran in July.

The event previously held a spinoff event in Shanghai in 2011.
