Muse Asia Licenses DAN DA DAN Season 2, My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Anime, More

Muse Asia announced on Friday and Saturday that it has licensed the DAN DA DAN season 2, My Dress-Up Darling season 2, I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince season 2, and Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra anime. In addition, Muse Asia revealed that its stream of The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses anime will debut on July 5 at 10:30 p.m. GMT +8 on the Crunchyroll, CatchPlay, Danet, Transvision, meWatch, CatchPlay, and Muse Asia YouTube Channel platforms.

Muse Asia's stream of the second season of the television anime of Yukinobu Tatsu's DAN DA DAN "paranormal mystery battle & romantic comedy" manga will debut on July 4 at 12:00 a.m. GMT +8. The stream will be available on the Bilibili, IQIYI, Crunchyroll, Laftel, TrueID, Vidio, CatchPlay, Nymey, Anime Times, and Muse Asia YouTube Channel platforms.

Muse Asia previously screened Dan DA DAN: Evil Eye, the theatrical premiere of the second season, in theaters in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and India beginning on May 30.

Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Góngora (storyboarder and unit director on the first season) are both credited for directors on the new season at Science SARU. The new season will feature a returning cast. Mutsumi Tamura joins the cast as Evil Eye (Jashi).

The first season premiered in Japan on October 3 on TBS and MBS's Super Animeism TURBO programming block. Netflix began streaming the anime worldwide on October 3. The series had 12 episodes.

Fūga Yamashiro (Tatami Time Machine Blues assistant director) directed the anime at Science SARU, and Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan The Final Season, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) supervised and wrote the series scripts. Composer kensuke ushio (Chainsaw Man, DEVILMAN crybaby, Liz and the Blue Bird) scored the music. Naoyuki Onda (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) designed the characters, and Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100) designed the aliens and supernatural entities. Hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts performed the opening theme song "Otokone," and ZUTOMAYO performed the ending theme song "TAIDADA."

Crunchyroll describes the story:

This is a story about Momo, a high school girl who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After Momo rescues Okarun from being bullied, they begin talking. However, an argument ensues between them since Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens exist, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts exist.

To prove to each other what they believe in is real, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO has been spotted and Okarun goes to a tunnel rumored to be haunted. To their surprise, they each encounter overwhelming paranormal activities that transcend comprehension. Amid these predicaments, Momo awakens her hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse to overcome these new dangers! Their fateful love begins as well!?

The story of the occult battle and adolescence starts!

Muse Asia's stream for the second anime season based on Shinichi Fukuda's My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru) manga will debut on July 6 at 12:00 a.m. GMT +8. The series will be available on the Netflix, Laftel, and CatchPlay platforms.

Muse Asia describes the anime new season:

Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo meet one day and [they] become closer through cosplay. There are still so many cosplays they want to do and so many outfits they want to make.

While interacting with their classmates and meeting new cosplay friends, Marin and Wakana's world expands even more. And will there be any new developments with Marin's love for Wakana that's filled with never-ending excitement?

The first season of the anime premiered in January 2022 and aired with 12 episodes. Muse Asia streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

The manga also inspired a live-action series adaptation, which premiered in Japan in October 2024.

  • Manaka Iwami as Iisha, a kind-hearted sister who serves at a church in the Dane district
  • Minami Tsuda as Saria, Lloyd's older sister and the fourth princess of Saloum kingdom
  • Nako Misaki as Lami

The anime's first season cast and staff are returning for the second season.

The anime's first season premiered on TV Tokyo and BS NTV in April 2024. Muse Asia streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Jin Tamamura (The Girl in Twilight) directed the anime at Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab. R.O.N (STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION) composed the music for the anime. Naoki Tozuka (Meiji Gekken: 1874) handled the script, series composition, and art management. Yuuichi Abe (Dimension High School) was the action director. Mai Ono (Yo-kai Watch: The Movie) was the color key artist. Yuki Yano was the compositing director of photography. Ryo Tanaka (Seitokai Yakuindomo) was the sound director at Ai Addiction.

Yuka Yamada (By the Grace of the Gods season 2) and Kunihiko Okada (By the Grace of the Gods season 2) are in charge of the series scripts. Kaho Deguchi (By the Grace of the Gods) is the main character designer and chief animation director, while Eri Kojima and Manami Inose are the sub-character designers.
