Setsucon 2009 Officially Open, Attendee Registration is Up and Running

Jun 21st 2008
STATE COLLEGE, PA-June 21, 2008- Hello to all Anime fans! I am pleased to announce on behalf of Setsucon, State College's anime convention that we are returning for our third year on January 17th and 18th 2009. A special Thank You goes to the Days Inn Penn State for graciously hosting us once again!

We're coming back strong with a lot of new faces and events as well as many of your old favorites. We've got an array of special live events, panels, gaming, and of course, anime viewings. We will be having, like any good convention, our Artists Alley and Vendors room. Also we are happy to announce that we will be reprising our (local, national, even world?) famous Host Club Auction! (This is a Setsucon staff auction for the purpose of raising money for charity!)

Here is some additional great news! Our general attendee registration is now up and running! Simply go to www.setsucon.com to check it out and register. You can stay tuned for updates, join the forums for your input (and talk to the staff members), and see hotel information!

We hope to see you all in January!

ABOUT SETSUCON: Located at the State College Days Inn, in State College, PA, Setsucon is within walking distance of the University Park Campus (Main Campus) of Penn State University.
Setsucon is hosted by the Penn State Anime Organization (PSAO). Since September 2001, the PSAO has been bringing anime, manga and Japanese pop culture to the University Park campus. Working to provide both weekly screenings and a social environment for Penn State's anime/manga fan base, the PSAO is continually broadening its horizons. The PSAO meetings serve multiple functions, including our free weekly anime screenings. We also arrange trips to conventions, have club social events, facilitate DDR events on campus, and much, much more!
