Thee Out Mods Cannonball into JapanFiles with "Rock-n-Roll Pirates" (Updated)

Update: This press release has been updated by the company that issued it.

August 13, 2008 - THEE OUT MODS take sail today on JapanFiles.com with their debut CD "Rock-n-Roll Pirates." After years of non-stop live shows in the Southern California area, THEE OUT MODS and their independent label 7 Samurai Records are returning to continue their musical journey in Japan this month. They spent months in the studio refining the sound of this collection of 11 songs to match the ferocious live shows that inspired their local fans.

THEE OUT MODS was formed in the summer of 2006 by three Japanese rockers SANA (Vocals), YOSHIKI (Bass), KENNY (Drums), and produced by Ace (lead singer of Tokyo Smog) from 7 Samurai Records.

SANA's straight and ironic expression of the youth generation is powerfully combined with the band's raw rock n' roll sound. Their sharp, stylish, high energy performances have earned them a committed fan following in Los Angeles, even though most of their songs are performed in Japanese. In April 2007, they toured to support LiN CLOVER, highlighted by a knock-out performance at the famous Slim's live house in San Francisco.

In 2008, they were voted "Best Japanese Punk Band" by readers of Shojo Beat magazine.
