Namco Bandai Games Outlines ShiftyLook Participation at C2E2
Classic video game re-imagination platform to have major presence at Chicago's premiere pop culture event

(TYO: 7832), announced today its participation at upcoming event C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo), taking place at the North Building at McCormick Place from April 13-15, 2012. ShiftyLook Freeplay Retro Arcade & Chalk Art Fun Zone: Namco Bandai Games Inc. and NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT INC. have partnered to create a truly unique retro arcade experience. Utilizing original arcade boards straight from Japan, arcade classics XEVIOUS, Sky Kid, Bravoman, Warp & Warp and Genpei Tomaden all come to life again in conversion cabinets featuring new art from the webcomics, all surrounding a beautiful chalk mural depicting the ShiftyLook characters created by Pepperink artist Eric Maruscak. (All weekend, Exhibit Hall marked as “Chalk Mural”) Meet & Greet with ShiftyLook Talent: Meet The Five-Dimensional Adventures of Dirk Davies writer Ben McCool, XEVIOUS writer Mike Costa, XEVIOUS artist Mike Norton and Bravoman artist Dax Gordine, take their pictures next to the arcade games that inspired their comics and even grab an autograph. Video Game Characters Reborn! Namco Bandai Games' ShiftyLook: ShiftyLook talent Dax Gordine (artist, Bravoman), Mike Norton (artist, XEVIOUS), Mike Costa (writer, XEVIOUS) and Ben McCool (writer, The Five-Dimensional Adventures of Dirk Davies) assemble for an in-depth panel on ShiftyLook's re-imagination of arcade classics as webomics. Plus, two new title announcements, including one by Jimmy Palmiotti himself, live in-person! Everyone who comes gets a C2E2 exclusive Alien Confidential T-shirt (subject to size availability). Anyone with a valid C2E2 badge for the day of the above events may participate, but due to seating capacities and other restrictions beyond the control of Namco Bandai Games and NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT, it may not be possible for every person wishing to enter a particular event to participate.
