McLean, VA. (June 1, 2012) - Sovereign Media is pleased to announce the digital edition of OTAKU USA magazine is now available for sale. This version of the bi-monthly magazine covering anime, manga, games, and Japanese pop culture can now be enjoyed on iPad, Android, and for reading on computers.

Published bi-monthly since 2007, OTAKU USA is a thick, full-color magazine featuring coverage of the hottest new anime and manga, along with video games, cosplay, j-pop, and the latest pop culture trends and happenings right now in Japan.

The new digital edition of OTAKU USA has all the same material, including the exact pages, as the print edition. However, in the digital edition, nearly all the web links are live and will open new windows with the web address. This includes advertiser links, as well as links to our bonus content, the contest pages, etc.

In addition, the digital edition comes with several video clips embedded in the issue. These clips can be viewed in the actual story page, or enlarged and viewed full screen. Future issues will include exclusive content including anime previews, extended cosplay galleries, music videos, and more.

The current issue of OTAKU USA -- August 2012, featuring a Steins;Gate cover story -- complete with live links and extra video content is on sale now, along with back issues (without live links or video). The price is the same as the print edition, although the price is shown in British pounds because the newsstand is British. Subscriptions to OTAKU USA magazine are also available at PocketMags.
