3/31/14 Breinigsville, PA – SaikouCon, which means "best convention”, is the Lehigh Valley's first and only large scale, annual anime convention.

Boasting a dedicated staff of longtime Japanese anime and manga fans, SaikouCon is excited to be the only annual convention dedicated exclusively to anime, manga, and Japanese culture and pop culture in this area of Northeast Pennsylvania.

The convention promises to remain very hands and attendee friendly every year, also maintaining a safe atmosphere for attendees to enjoy the convention to their carefree fullest. As always, Cosplay =/= Consent is a very important issue to the staff of SaikouCon, and the same rules and regulations that made SaikouCon 2013 a safe haven for cosplayers will be enforced just as strictly at SaikouCon 2014.

SaikouCon welcomes Cosplay Burlesque to perform at SaikouCon 2014, Cosplay Burlesque will be performing on Friday, August 22 at 11 pm, right after The Adarna's solo concert following our Opening Day Ceremonies! Cosplay Burlesque is a performing arts group of burlesque performers and cosplayers dedicated to combining the two for your entertainment. Their mission is to take the characters fans already enjoy and make them naughty through a humorous and provocative stage show. There is no fandom that they leave untouched in their quest for great source material. They are fan fiction come to life!

Cosplay Burlesque, Where Fandom gets a Little Naughty, are happy to bring their signature burlesque show to SaikouCon 2014 and the convention is happy to have them. The show is 18+ and IDs will be checked at the show, these lovely ladies bring a little too much spice for the younger set of con goers.

April 1 will see the one and only pre-registration price jump on 3 Day Basic and Deluxe Attendance Packages as well as 1 Day Basic and Deluxe Packages. VIP Packages will not be increased this year to keep the SaikouCon VIP experience accessable for as many fans as possible, also the VIP Packages will not be available for at the door registrants. VIP Packages will only be available during the pre-registration period until July 1, 2014. This cut off is to ensure that the printed souvenir materials that are received with the VIP Packages arrive in time for pick up at SaikouCon 2014. Pre-registration for the 3 Day and 1 Day Basic Attendance Packages will continue August 11 2014. SaikouCon's Guests of Honor for 2014 include RuffleButt Cosplay (Jessie Pridemore), Greg Houser (Evangelion, Shiki, One Piece, Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians, and more), Bill Rogers (Pokémon, Boogiepop Phantom, Gravitation, and more), Marc Swint (Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, Anime Abandon), Sonny Strait (Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Black Butler, Lupin III, One Piece, Ouran High School Host Club, Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Fairy Tail). Featured Guests for SaikouCon 2014 are the Sci-Fi Photo Guys, the League of Hot Geeks, and Cosplay Burlesque! Musical Guests confirmed to perform thus far are The Adarna who will be headlining this years Cosplay Concert as well as giving a special solo performance following SaikouCon 2014's Opening Ceremonies. Members of the band will also be presenting feature panels and workshops over the course of SaikouCon 2014.

The convention will always feature some of the best live entertainment themed to Japanese culture as well as the best in J-Rock, J-Pop, and geek culture musical acts from all over the US and beyond.

All of this plus top creators, writers, artists, distributors, industry insiders, English dub and original Japanese voice talent, some of the best cosplay talent, shows, masquerades; and so much more!

SaikouCon 2014 will be held August 22, 23, and 24 of 2014 in the heart of the Lehigh Valley area in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.
