AnimeJapan 2015 Latest Release on Red, Green, Blue Stage Programs

Tokyo – January 28, 2015
AnimeJapan Executive Committee released the information on 41 programs in the RED/GREEN/BLUE Stage Programs in the “AnimeJapan 2015,” one of Japan's largest anime events coming up in March 2015. The tickets with stage-viewing lottery are now on sale. This large-scale stage event is separated into RED, GREEN, and BLUE stages that are capable of 50,000 audiences in total. Each stage is holding a variety of appealing events such as the latest news on the upcoming anime, music concert, and talk show by guest speakers.

They are also coming up with further details on organizer's events that are far more upgraded from the ones in AnimeJapan 2014. Japan's largest anime event “AnimeJapan 2015” is sincerely looking for your attendance.

AnimeJapan 2015 is separated into 3 major areas: [Main Area], [Family Anime Festa], and [Business Area].

Main Area (East Exhibition Hall 1-6): The Latest Information

■Anime+Stage (Open Stage) The First Release on the Stage Program!
We are presenting admission-free open stage, where it holds various events featuring contents strongly related with anime. In “Anime + Music,” we will have Animelo Summer Live 2015 press release. In “Anime + Radio,” we are carrying out popularity vote for Aniraji program as the 1st Aniraji Award. In “Anime + Goods,” we will open admission from ordinary visitors to hold anime project competition. In “Anime + Cosplay,” we are showcasing performances by cosplayers.

■Open Theater: powered by Newtype
Coming UP!
Our theme for this program is “Idol Anime” and “Robot Anime.” We will show some of the most renowned anime episodes depending on the theme of the day.
For the “Idol Anime,” we will have Magical Angel Creamy Mami and THE IDOLM@STER. For the “Robot Anime,” we chose SUPER MACHINE ZAMBOT 3 and Knights of Sidonia.
It is an admission-free theater with full support by Newtype magazine, who is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

■Cosplayers World
The First Release on the Official Anime Background Screen!
The first news release: we will have the official background screen from Kantai Collection and Kuroko's Basketball.

■Charity Auction
“The Right to Visit 2D World” on Display!
AnimeJapan presents its own unique planning to display “the Right to Visit 2D World.” It enables you to make your own appearance in our original anime illustration. This year, we are planning to use Mobile Suit Gundam and STAR BLAZERS 2199.

■Seminar Stage
The First Release on the Stage Programs!
AnimeJapan is opening admission-free seminar stage shows that are intended to every visitor, both business and ordinary ones, full of up-to-date knowledge on current anime industry. Our stage show topics include the future of 3DCG animation, with the sample of Ronia the Robber's Daughter, and the significance of local community-based animation known as “Machi Asobi” Project.

■Official Goods
More merchandizes coming up!
AnimeJapan 2015 is going to display our limited merchandises only in AnimeJapan 2015, from small souvenirs to AJ original capsule toys. Another unique project is to be presented this year focusing on “Anime x Traditional Crafts” and other kind of collaboration works. We are going to display a few samples such as “Girls und Panzer x Kasama Ware from Ibaragi Prefecture” as well as “GOD EATER x Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]”

Family Anime Festa [East Exhibition Hall 6]: The Latest News Release

We established a space in the East Exhibition Hall 6 in the Main Area as a restricted section for visitors with children, titled as “Family Anime Festa” with the programs below.

The Family Anime Festa presents 3 major sections and each has a unique entertainment programs. Kids' Anime Studio is a workshop where children can experience making anime. Play Corner is where there are booths that kids can play shooting game and accessory-makings. Family Stage carries out stage shows where kids can see anime characters in kigurumi.

NOTE: Admission to the Business Area is restricted to the visitors with business purposes, such as business meeting with exhibitors and information-gathering on anime industry. Visitors that are currently enrolled in school or opening their business are not allowed to enter.

Our Relationship with Anime Festival Asia

This year, we established the inter-event relationship with Anime Festival Asia (http://www.animefestival.asia/), the largest Japanese pop-culture event in the Southeast Asia, and we exchanged exhibitions from each other.
Our goal is to create more opportunities for both domestic and overseas anime fans to get to know these new events, in order to enliven the both festivals.
