MediBang is happy to announce the opening of it's Shonen Jump Plus x MediBang manga contest. People interested in breaking into the manga industry can submit their manga or comics to be reviewed by Shonen Jump Plus editors in Japan.

So what is Shonen Jump Plus?

Shonen Jump Plus is one of Japan's most famous and longest running manga magazines. Shonen Jump Plus is a free digital publication where readers can read free manga and preview manga appearing in

Shonen Jump. Their site can be viewed at ( http://plus.shonenjump.com/ )

Who should enter?

Anyone interested in breaking into the manga industry should enter. It's notoriously difficult for foreigners to break in, especially considering the language barrier. For the Shonen Jump Plus x MediBang contest overseas manga will be translated from English, Korean, and Chinese (traditional and simplified) into Japanese for editors to review. The manga will be translated by MediBang's staff and reviewed by Shonen Jump Plus' editors.

How do people enter?

One way to enter the contest is through MediBang's site at ( https://medibang.com/jumpplus/ ). Another alternative is to submit directly from MediBang's digital painting software MediBang Paint. There is is a built in feature that allows artists to submit their art or comics to the site.
