Virtual Artist IA's 1st Solo Live Going To Be Screened World Wide
“IA PARTY A GO-GO”(PAGG) World Screening Caravan has started on the past January 27th with the IA 4th Anniversary event held in Tokyo. After that, the movie has toured France, Spain, Canada, Mexico and the next stop is FAN EXPO DALLAS, to be held on June 3-5 at Dallas Convention Center. A digested version of PAGG movie will be screened on the second day, June 4th(Sat) from 7 pm. Visitors can enjoy the movie in the hall C149. At the same time, our official booth “1st PLACE Official Shop” at #164 is welcoming you with a variety of merchandise and CDs of IA, as well as “KAGEROU PROJECT”, the work of multi-talented creator JIN.

After Dallas, another big event will be taking place in Mexico. The full live movie version of 110 min can be appreciated at Mexican Japanese movie festival, AniFest, from June 25th to July 10th. The movie concert will be screened in 30 theaters around the whole country. And IA is greeting to her Mexican fans in Spanish for the first time in the movie trailer!

■ABOUT “IA”
“IA” is a virtual artist brought to life as part of the VOCALOID™3 library “IA -ARIA ON THE PLANETES-” and “IA ROCKS -ARIA ON THE PLANETES”, which are both ranked #1 on Amazon Japan Music Software chart. IA-related videos have collectively garnered more than 100 million views.
In 2013 and 2014, IA took on the official theme song and became the spokescharacter for Super GT, the most-watched motor race in Japan. IA is also the featured singer of “KAGEROU PROJECT”, a multi-content project created by the multi-talented “JIN”. And she also provided vocals for a song which was entitled “Otsukimi Recital”, appearing in the internationally distributed anime "MEKAKUCITY ACTORS" based on “KAGEROU PROJECT”. In addition, IA received attention for being selected for the vocals on the CD included with the final volume of the “Neon Genesis Evangelion” manga. In July 2015, “IA/VT -COLORFUL-” for PlayStation® Vita was released and ranked #2 on the game chart.
IA made her North American first live performance with more than 2,000 screaming fans in July 2015 as part of Cool Japan Festival presented by ANIME EXPO 2015 at Club Nokia, LA. Live. In September 2015, IA completed her first solo concert in Japan titled "IA First Live Concert in JAPAN [PARTY A GO-GO]" at AKASAKA BLITZ. In October 2015, IA held her first solo live in New York, and it was a big success. In November 2015, IA had two show cases at HYPER JAPAN in London, in front of an audience of 1,500 people in two days.
IA celebrated her 3rd Anniversary on January 27th together with the 1st Anniversary of ONE, in the “IA & ONE ANNIVERSARY PARTY!! -SPECIAL TALK & LIVE-” streamed live in Japan. Since February 2016, “IA 1st Live Concert in Japan -PARTY A GO-GO-” is being screened in anime conventions and cinemas around the world like JAPAN EXPO SUD (Marseille), JAPAN EXPO in Thailand (Bangkok), Madrid Otaku (Madrid), Hanadoki Con (San Diego), Anime Central (Winnipeg, Canada), Nadeshicon (Quebec). ■ABOUT “KAGEROU PROJECT”
“KAGEROU PROJECT” is a mixed media project by the versatile creator, musician and novelist “JIN” and illustrator and video maker “SIDU”.
The story is about the characters getting mysterious powers related to eyes and solving cases and mysteries in an ensemble cast form. It's also a new form of mixed media as the story unfolds on various media including music, novels, and manga simultaneously. “KAGEROU PROJECT” started its conquest on Japanese websites, where it got immense support from teenagers and became a huge hit with more than 100 million replays.
The project has also been getting a huge amount of DOUJIN contributions by fans in a wide range of fields including illustrations, cosplay, and song covers, mostly shared on the Internet.
“JIN” was born on Rishiri Island in Oct. 24, 1990. He is a versatile creator active as a lyricist, composer, and novelist. Influenced by his keyboardist uncle, he started playing the synthesizer from age 6. He was influenced by bands like The Back Horn and composer Satoru Kōsaki. JIN has been praised and supported for his ability to put a whole world or story into songs, as well as for his skills as a composer.
He started uploading videos in 2011, and “Kagerou Daze”, a song series connected by the story in the lyrics, became a huge hit with the total replay number of related videos exceeding 100 million. “Mekaku City Actors”––an anime for which he wrote the script, composed the series, and produced the music––started airing in April, 2014. The opening and ending theme single for the same anime, “daze/days,” was released on June 18, 2014 and placed third in the Oricon Weekly Chart after its release.
He is active in various media. His novel series “Kagerou Daze” is being published and a manga by the same name for which he wrote the original story also started serializing, the number of volumes sold in total exceeds 7.8 million copies.
