Aniplex of America Releasing Blue Exorcist -Kyoto Saga- on Blu-ray and DVD

The action of -Kyoto Saga- comes to Blu-ray and DVD!

SANTA MONICA, CA (June 2, 2017) – Aniplex of America announced today that all 12 episodes of hit supernatural anime Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga- will be released on Blu-ray and DVD for the first time. Earlier this year, the long-awaited Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga- began streaming on Crunchyroll, Anime Strike, Daisuki, and Hulu, and the English dubbed version will begin streaming on Hulu soon. Now, fans will be able to own every episode of the new series. The announcement was unveiled at the Aniplex of America industry panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, CA to cheers from the anime's passionate fan base.

Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga- is based on the “Kyoto Impure King” arc, beginning in Chapter 16 of the best-selling Blue Exorcist manga by author Kazue Katō. The Kyoto-based season aired weekly in Japan starting in January 2017 and is a new series that adheres to the original manga, promising to capture both anime and manga fans alike.

Pre-orders begin on July 5th for all SKUs. Release dates and product details are listed below.

The series is produced by the famed studio A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Your Lie in April, Erased). Both Blu-ray and DVD feature the original Japanese as well as English dialogues with Bryce Papenbrook (Sword Art Online, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) as Rin Okumura, Johnny Yong Bosch (Durarara!!, Gurren Lagann) as Yukio Okumura, and Christine Marie Cabanos (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sword Art Online) as Shiemi Moriyama for the English dub. Named “#1 Most Anticipated Winter 2017 Anime Series” by Anime News Network, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga- finally brings the action to Blu-ray and DVD.
