Seven Seas Goes Edgelord with License of The Dangers in My Heart Manga Series
(LOS ANGELES, December 4, 2020) – Seven Seas Entertainment is delighted to announce the license acquisition of the manga series The Dangers in My Heart by Norio Sakurai. Quirky courtship awaits in this comedy nominated for the 2020 Manga Taisho Award!
Ichikawa Kyotaro, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school's social ladder, secretly believes he's the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates' peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro's not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be...and it turns out Anna's a bit odd herself!
Seven Seas will publish the manga series The Dangers in My Heart for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released in July 2021 for $12.99 USA / $16.99 CAN.
