Seven Seas Licenses Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of That Otome Game is Tough for Us Light Novel Spin-Off Series (Airship Imprint)

(July 12, 2023) – Seven Seas Entertainment is pleased to announce, through its Airship light novel imprint, the license acquisition of the light novel series Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of That Otome Game Is Tough for Us by Yomu Mishima, Tooi Moge, and Monda. Enjoy an alternate universe spin-off for the hit isekai light novels, manga, and anime!

Office worker Leon is reincarnated into a dating sim video game, where women reign supreme and only beautiful men have a seat at the table. But Leon has a secret weapon: he remembers everything from his past life, which includes a complete playthrough of the very game in which he is now trapped. In this alternate universe twist on the hilarious light novels, Leon makes different choices when he runs into the character “Marie.” What new future awaits them both?

Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of That Otome Game Is Tough for Us (light novel) Vol. 1 will be released for the first time in the English language in April 2024 for $15.99 USA / $19.99 CAN, with the series available in single large-trim editions as part of Seven Seas' Airship imprint. Ebook editions will also be available (early) on digital platforms.
