TV Anime "Tohai - Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku" Confirmed for Broadcast in 2024

Kōji Shinasaka's "Tohai: Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku," which concluded its serialization in
AKITASHOTEN's "Young Champion," is set for a TV anime adaptation in 2024. The director will be
Jun Hatori, with music by Yūsuke Shirato and Yuki Kishida. EAST FISH STUDIO will handle the
animation production.
 
The series follows Kei, also known as "K of Ice," a high school boy who frequents the underground
mahjong parlor teeming with money, women, organs and desires. Despite facing various
hardships, Kei navigates the underworld of mahjong while surviving.
 
In conjunction with the announcement of the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual and a teaser PV
have been released. The teaser visual notably captures Kei 's cold yet determined gaze. Please also
pay attention to how the characters, aside from Kei, featured in the PV, will be involved in the
series."

■ Synopsis
