IRVINE, Calif. – May 20, 2024 – Battles are colliding in the CALL OF DUTY franchise with a new collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. and Call of Duty, bringing legends from the Gundam series to the front lines. Inspired by the towering mecha that have captured the imagination of Gundam fans for generations, CALL OF DUTY has new Operator Skins based on iconic Mobile Suit from the series. Soon, in-game battles will see Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Finishing Moves, and more inspired by fan-favorite Mobile Suits: The RX-78-2 Gundam complete with Beam Rifle and RX-78-2 Shield; Char's MS-06S Zaku II and its devastating Heat Hawk, and the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial with its powerful Aerial Rebuild Beam Rifle. The Mobile Suit Gundam Legends bundles will begin deploying to the front lines this June for a limited time. But since Gundam is for everyone, for the duration of the event, a variety of progression rewards will be available to anyone playing CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE III, CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE, and CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE MOBILE, including a Gundam-themed Weapon Blueprint, Weapon Camo, Vinyls, Sticker, Emblem, Weapon Charm and Calling Cards.
The three Gundam Tracer Packs available for purchase during the event celebrate Gundam in style. First up, the Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit - RX-78-2 Gundam puts Amuro Ray's classic Mobile Suit on full display, with in-game weapon blueprints for the Beam Rifle, Beam Saber and RX-78-2 Shield. Dispatch enemies with the Newtype Finisher finishing move, bring the lucky Haro weapon charm into battle, and more for even the most ardent EFSF fan.
